Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Breaking News: Major General Stephen Buay Charged With Treason

The army GHQs has said that General Major Stephen Buay Rolnyang has been charged with treason during a court-martial.

MGEN Buay was captured last year after a brief fight with forces sent to arrest him. He was accused of trying to defect from the army.

He was today charged with treason, disobeying a lawful order, violation of standing military orders and dereliction of duty according to the army spokesman.

The trial continues.

South Sudan National Minister of Education Mr. Deng Deng Hoc calls on every citizen to put education as their first priority because it is the only way to  change the nation. Hon. Norway, Netherland and Britain diplomats are demanding from Junub Sudan’s Government to make more space so that the citizens and the journalists can be able to have a freedom of expression.    This is what the Dutch Ambassador to South Sudan Had to say “Every occasion that we get is the need for South Sudanese government to respect the freedom of expression since they are now an independent country, a member of a United Nations.
