Unity State Embraces Peace: VP Taban’s Tour Highlights Stability and Growth ‎

Children Below 18 Years Will Not Be Arrested For Crimes They Committed But Their Parents Will Be Arrested Says South Sudan Police




The South Sudan Police Confirmed today that the force will not arrest children below 18 years but would rather arrest the parents.
 
Mr. David Bol Maguang a police investigator reiterated this point to the police of Tonj amid rumors that the South Sudan Police Force is arresting under age children who committed crimes. 

He further said that any child who commits a crime the parents of the child will be held accountable since the law of the country does not allow jail time for underage children. 

Finally,  he gave advise to the parents to be responsible for their children or else they will face the law.
