South Sudanese comedian Yigi Yigi has announced that he has been released from detention in Libya after spending several days in custody while attempting to continue his journey toward Europe. South Sudan Prosecutor Admits That Lack Of Judges Has Led To Prolong Detentions




Imatong State Public prosecutor has admitted that the prolonged detention of suspected criminals is due to inadequate judges in the state.
 
The public prosecutor Mr. John Wani Lado says that it is impossible for prosecutors to perfectly complete work in absence of judges.
 
Wani says his office is working hard to bring more law enforcement officers to ensure work is effective in the area. Mr. Wani also admits that many cases took long in police custody without being forwarded for trial. 
 
The speaker made the remarks with the media after the closure of one-day rule of law forum in Torit on Wednesday
