Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Rebel Commander Killed in Rumbek

Field commander of the armed opposition known as Pan African group operating in state is killed and his body was brought to Rumbek Hospital mortuary, Acting Governor of Western Lakes State announced Thursday. Lois Agum Ruben says the late commander, Anyar Anyar, was killed during fighting on Wednesday in Paloch County, north of Rumbek near Unity State, Radio Good News reports. The Acting Governor calls on the late commander’s colleagues and other armed opposition groups to respond to President Kiir’s amnesty and join the peace process. The official did not mention whether some soldiers from the two sides were among the death. Radio Good News could not reach the Pan African opposition group for comment by the press time. This is the statement from the spokesperson of Rambo "This is a ridiculous, categorically false story," Michelle Bega, a spokesperson for the  Rocky  star, said in a statement to E! News. Abyei leaders welcome renewal of UNISFA’s mandate by UNSC

UNMISS soldier in Abyei Administrators of Abyei welcomed the extension of United Nations Interim Security Force in Abyei or UNISFA for another six months. They say the presence of UNISFA in the region is crucial to keep law, order and provide security for civil population. Balabak Deng Kuol, Paramount Chief of Ngok Dinka welcomes the renewal of UNISFA mandate in the area. He says UNISFA’s presence in Abyei is crucial because they are the only law keeping agent in the area. The East African Community of EAC Secretariat announces postponement of Heads of State Retreat on Infrastructure, Health Financing and Development. Heads of State Retreat on Infrastructure, Health Financing and Development has been postponed announces the East African Community Of EAC Secretariat. The retreat was scheduled to take place on November 28 and 29 in Kampala, Uganda. The Secretariat in statement on Thursday says the postponement follows consultations and guidance from Chairperson of the EAC Heads of State President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. It adds that EAC leaders are expected to attend African Union Heads of State-European Union Summit in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire from November 29 to 30. The EAC body says the papers and registrations for participants and exhibitors received will retain an active status until the rescheduled date. The Secretariat greatly appreciates any support and understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.

The people of Northern Bahr El Ghazal last month were consulted on problem facing South Sudan and the possible solutions, and they responded nicely and cooperated say Mr. Kuol Athiang Mawiel sub-committee Chairperson of the national dialogue.     He further added that the committee did not experience any interference or hostilities from the Northern Bhar El Ghazal States. 80% Employment Opportunities Allocated To South Sudanese in The New Labour Law

New Guidelines for employment has been enacted in Junub Sudan by the National Lawmakers on Tuesday and it has been pass into a bill, the new labour bill protects the National workers’ rights. According to the bill 80% of Junubin are to be allocated employment in the private sector. The law would preserve employment opportunities for many South Sudanese graduates in various public or private sectors, says Victor Omugo Ogide, Deputy Chairperson of the Labour and Public Service Committee in the assembly.    If the bill stays for more than a month from now and the president did not sign it then the bill will become a law automatic. The Zimbabwe national army has successfully staged a coup which has led to President Robert Mugabe and wife to be placed under custody and the army can be seen patrolling the capital’s streets following a night of unrest that included a military takeover of the state broadcaster, Even Military tanks can be seen patrolling the road leading to President Mugabe’s Office in the capital Harare. The Army spokesperson said early on Wednesday that the military is targeting criminals who are shielding themselves around President Mugabe and he further reassured the citizens that order will be restored immediately.
