Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Vivacell Closure Is Affecting Money Transfer Business

South Sudanese money transfer operators are complaining that the closure if Vivacell telecommunication has affected their operation.

One of the Branch Manager of Wanhalel Money Transfer Company some of their branches such as Romic and Ngapagok have been closed down because they don't have a better mobile network in their area.

 
One operator pointed out that MTN network sometimes is very difficult to reach and it is inefficient.

 
The Branch manager of Nyamale Money Transfer says MTN network is often Congested  which inefficient and ineffective it to transfer money.

The Money transfer companies are calling on the government to cooperate with Vivacell Company so as to re-open the network.
