MP Stephen Lual Ngor Condemns Deportation of South Sudanese Women from Sudan, Calls for Urgent Family Reunification

Stephen Lual Ngor JUBA, October 14, 2025 South Sudanese lawmaker Stephen Lual Ngor has strongly condemned the recent deportation of South Sudanese women from Sudan, describing the act as “inhumane and unacceptable.” Read: President Kiir Swears In New Cabinet Members, Urges Unity and Service to Nation Lual, a member of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee, said the forced expulsion of over 100 women from Khartoum and Omdurman leaving behind 61 of their children violates both humanitarian and international human rights norms. “Law and humanity stand above all politics,” the MP stressed, urging the Sudanese authorities to protect South Sudanese nationals and allow a safe and dignified return for those who wish to come home.
