Stephen Lual Ngor  ‎JUBA, October 14, 2025 ‎ South Sudanese lawmaker Stephen Lual Ngor has strongly condemned the recent deportation of South Sudanese women from Sudan, describing the act as “inhumane and unacceptable.” ‎Read:  ‎President Kiir Swears In New Cabinet Members, Urges Unity and Service to Nation ‎ ‎ Lual, a member of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee, said the forced expulsion of over 100 women from Khartoum and Omdurman leaving behind 61 of their children violates both humanitarian and international human rights norms. ‎ ‎“Law and humanity stand above all politics,” the MP stressed, urging the Sudanese authorities to protect South Sudanese nationals and allow a safe and dignified return for those who wish to come home. ‎ ‎He further appealed to the Government of South Sudan to reinforce its embassy in Khartoum with adequate consular support to assist stranded citizens and coordinate with Sudanese officials to reuni...

Junub Sudan Passport printing machine is up and running

The Cabinet Secretary of Interior has reported to the cabinet that the machines for printing passports restarted working.

Michael Makuei Lueth after extraordinary meeting of Council of Ministers on Wednesday advises people to go and renew their documents normally.

He also warn the drivers of tainted cars to stop driving it on the roads and and who ever violates it will face the law.

Mr. Makuei further reiterated that the security measure is on place as a preparation for Christmas festivals and new year's festivals.

‎Warrap State, South Sudan, 8 October 2025  ‎ At least 15 people have died and five others wounded in renewed fighting on the border of Athony, a government-designated buffer zone, according to local officials.  ‎ ‎Clash Details & Casualties ‎Twic County Commissioner Mabior Marup confirmed that the confrontation began Monday evening and continued into Tuesday morning.  ‎ ‎Initially, eight soldiers from both sides reportedly lost their lives.  ‎ ‎By the following day, the conflict flared again, resulting in seven additional deaths, bringing the total to 15.  ‎ ‎Among the fatalities: eight SSPDF soldiers, six SPLA-IO fighters, and one civilian caught in crossfire.  ‎ ‎Five SSPDF soldiers were injured and are receiving treatment.  ‎ ‎Trigger & Aftermath ‎Marup attributed the flare-up partly to heightened tensions around the ongoing high-profile trial of suspended First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar and eight co-accused.   ‎ He added tha...
