South Sudanese comedian Yigi Yigi has announced that he has been released from detention in Libya after spending several days in custody while attempting to continue his journey toward Europe. National Salvation Front (NAS) Respond to Accusation From SPLMA-IO and SSPDF

"All these accusations that they are making are baseless and do not have any sense. They are in a panic because the revitalized peace agreement they signed is not moving forward. The above statement was uttered by the (NAS) National Salvation Front spokesperson Mr Suba Samuel.
The statement was as a response to the allegation aim at (NAS) National Salvation Front by both the SPLMA-IO and the SSPDF claiming that they are responsible for the attacks on civilians in various parts of the Greater Equatoria Region.
The (NAS) National Salvation Front Spokesperson further reiterated that SPLMA-IO and SSPDF are planning a major joint offensive against the National Salvation Front (NAS) in Greater Equatoria Region.
The spokesperson was being interviewed by the eye Radio and he told eye radio that " “They wanted the loopholes to justify that we are the peace spoilers, but the fact is that the agreement has gone wrong and they not putting funds,  and they wanted to use somebody to express their doubts for which the agreement is failed.”
The (NAS) National Salvation Front, is a militant group in South Sudan who are fighting against the government specifically in the Eastern Equatoria Region or the Equatoria Regions at large.
The group is led by General Thomas Cyrilo Swaka who was a former general and senior leader within the South Sudan military. In 2017 General Cyrilo resigned from his position to initiate an opposition movement. That was how (NAS) was born.
The government have pardoned Thomas Cyrilo on various occasion and they have even gone as far as giving him the position in the government so as he can disband the NAS National Salvation Front and so that peace might reign in the Greater Equatoria Region.

‎Mam Pal Denies Funding Armed Youth (White Army) Activities as Special Court Hearing Continues in Juba

  Mam Pal Dhoul, one of the accused persons in the ongoing trial involving suspended First Vice President Riek Machar and seven others, appeared before the Special Court in Juba on Friday and denied accusations linking him to the financing of armed youth activities in Nasir County. ‎Speaking through a court interpreter, Mam Pal dismissed claims made by prosecutors and a digital forensic expert that he transferred $15,000 through an individual identified as Mohammed Sherif Ahmed in Dubai to support armed groups in Nasir. ‎ ‎According to his testimony, Mohammed Sherif Ahmed is a personal friend whom he visited in India on October 5, 2024, for business-related matters. Senior Presidential Envoy for Special Programs, Adut Kiir, has donated 10 vehicles to support South Sudan’s Ebola preparedness efforts as the country continues to strengthen its capacity to respond to potential outbreaks. ‎ ‎The donation was announced during Adut’s visit to health facilities and emergency response institutions involved in disease surveillance and preparedness.
