Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Junub Sudan receives 80 million dollars for humanitarian assistant

Humanitarian assistance in South Sudan
The UN OFFICE  for Humanitarian Affairs Co-ordination (OCHA) confirms that South Sudan has been given 80 million dollars to help strengthen humanitarian action in the country.

The fund is expected to tackle areas of nutrition, sanitation, food security health and many more of the donor-funded activities in the new nation. The breakdown on the usage of the fund is as follows: Upper Nile and Eastern Equatoria will receive 8 % of the fund, jonglei state will take 33% and unity with 20% respectively.

Incases of displaced peopled the funding has also money to fund for the emergency shelter not forgetting the none food items too.

Finance Committee Plans To Purchase A Private Jet For President Kiir

The Finance and Economic Planning Committee of the National Legislative Assembly has proposed that South Sudan should buy a presidential jet to be used by the President, the vice-presidents and senior members of the executive.
