South Sudan’s Caretaker Minister of Presidential Affairs, Africano Mande Gedima, has held talks with Ethiopia’s Ambassador to South Sudan, Delil Kedir Bushra, on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. The meeting focused on diplomatic relations and cooperation, with the two officials also exchanging views on the current situation in South Sudan, Ethiopia and the wider region. Ambassador Delil Kedir said the discussions provided an opportunity to share perspectives on regional developments and matters of mutual interest. Breaking News: Peace talk has collapse in the lakes states

The authorities in the lake decided to counsel the peace initiative until further notice due to the recent rampant killing that had occurred in both the eastern and western lakes state in rumbek and yirol respectively.

The main reasons to why the peace process was stopped are because the paramount chief of the Eastern lakes state was brutally murdered with his son. The paramount chief was murdered with his son while attending the peace initiative.

The other reason for stopping the peace initiative is because of the on-going intercommunal fighting which has been going on for the last eleven months and also the rampant cattle raiding activities which the government has failed to curb.
