Police Officer Shot Dead, Gun Stolen While Guarding KCSE Exam Papers in Turkana ‎

Turkana County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi. ‎A police officer was shot dead in cold blood on Monday morning while guarding Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers in Turkana County.  ‎ The tragic incident occurred at Kang’atotha area, Turkana Central, where officers had been deployed to provide security during the ongoing national examinations. ‎ ‎According to police reports, the slain officer was part of a team assigned to escort and guard examination materials at a local school. Witnesses said the attack happened shortly after dawn when unknown assailants ambushed the officer. Breaking News: Peace talk has collapse in the lakes states


The authorities in the lake decided to counsel the peace initiative until further notice due to the recent rampant killing that had occurred in both the eastern and western lakes state in rumbek and yirol respectively.

The main reasons to why the peace process was stopped are because the paramount chief of the Eastern lakes state was brutally murdered with his son. The paramount chief was murdered with his son while attending the peace initiative.

The other reason for stopping the peace initiative is because of the on-going intercommunal fighting which has been going on for the last eleven months and also the rampant cattle raiding activities which the government has failed to curb.
