More Than (10) Outstanding Issues Remain Unresolved At The HLRF


More than 10 key talking point still have not yet been tackled at the high level revitalization forum in Ethiopia capital Addis Ababa by our leaders regarding the security and governance.

These includes how the government will be  compose, also the power sharing, functions and the participation of all the warring parties in the process.

The Transitional Government of National Unity will comprise the President, First Vice President to be nominated by the SPLM IO, The Vice President TGoNU, and the third Vice President to be nominated by other parties in the conflict.

Furthermore the SPLM IO of former South Sudan Vice President Dr. Riak Machar, SPLM FD’s headed by Pagan Amum, and TGoNU headed by President Salva Kiir Mayadit will all be represented the transitional government.

The committe have been given a deadline of 12 hours to discuss those issues. A final communiqué is expected at the end of the talks.
