Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Pregnant Woman And A Mother Of Six Children Raped Multiple Times In Lakes State


Lakes State again today witnessed another rape case incident involving a pregnant woman and a mother of six children.  

The incident occurred separately in Neemthok and Adol Village of the Eastern Bar El Naam County.  

The pregnant woman was raped at gunpoint by unknown gunmen in Adol and the woman is nineteen years old. 

In another separate incident a mother of six children was also raped multiple times in the village if Neemthok.  
 
Major Machol Makoi who is the crime inspector in the County said that the identity of the suspects are known to the authority. 

The Major further said that the notorious gunmen also did clash with government forces just last week and the government ensures the victims that justice will be serve soon.
