Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. The decree was that no witchcraft activity will be conducted in the municipality since it is a religious town. He urged that people should instead be focusing on the spiritual nourishment rather than seeking help from the Witch doctors. The top candidate in the 2018 primary leaving examinations has attributed her excellent performance to family and teachers. Meet Lou Buol Mayen who emerged as the top PLE pupil in the recent PLE exams scoring a total of 490 out of 500 marks. The girl who was learning at Marty’s Academy in Jonglei State did the impossible only missing 10 to score a hundred percent. Lou Buol Mayen is 16 years of age. When contacted by the eye radio she said that “It’s not a surprise because I worked hard in my exams, I read a lot and I knew that I would appear on top when results are released.” According to her statement she knew her ability. Unknown Gunmen Slaughtered A female Pastor In Meridi County.

Maridi County today is under the spotlight not for the good reason but for the wrong reasons.  Because of the common South Sudan Issues of unknown gunmen. It is believed that a group of assailants from Maridi County infiltrated the Anglican Church in Sudan. In the process, they killed the only female pastor who has been working in Maridi County for more than 15 years. The reasons for the murder of the female priest is still unknown as Emmanuel Laku who is working with the Criminal Investigation Department has said. Mr Laku further stated that the CID Criminal Investigation Department will speed up the investigation process so that the culprits will be brought the book. Has been called upon by the South Sudan President His Excellency Salva Kiir Mayardit to go back to their constituency in order to pass the message of peace and the peace to their constituencies. Mr Phillip Ogal, the current deputy chairman of information said that “This is the reality and we must say the truth,” he meant this by saying that the people deserve the know the truth and this means the MPs would take the message far and wide all over South Sudan. In order for the peace deal message to be sent to the constituencies, this requires money and logistics for the MPs. Kakuma Refugee Miraa chewers initially are people from the Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya origins but recently South Sudanese Miraa chewers have overtaken both Somalia and Ethiopia to become the number one Miraa Chewers in the camp. According to one of our correspondent who has been in the camp for more than (15) fifteen years he said that “The number started increasing from the year 2010 and now in the year 2019 the number is too high.” By 2 PM that is exactly the time, Miraa (KHAT) is brought to the camp via Lodwar . Major Anomaly Appears At Paloch Oilfield Report Released by Dar-Petroleum

South Sudan National minister of Petroleum today identified an anomaly in Dar petroleum regarding the amount of oil they produced at Paloch oil field on daily basis. Mr Ezekiel found out that the daily oil production does not add up. The Minister said that “ We have more wells than last time [but] since 2016 when I became the minister of Petroleum, every day your report is 130 thousand barrels per day why."  The report always shows that the oil production always indicates production of 130,000 barrels per day and the oil field has undergone a series of maintenance and also some of the oil wells have been opened and resumed production of the oil. TWO REFUGEES COMMITTED SUICIDE IN KAKUMA REFUGEE CAMP DUE TO HUNGER

One male refugee residing in Kakuma 4 has opted to commit suicide rather than die of hunger in Kakuma Refugee Camp. The Refugees food rationing has dropped drastically by a third after the introduction of bamba chakula in Kakuma Refugee Camp. The other victim is a girl who is a minor and a size one. The young girl cannot fend for herself since the food given to the refugee was supposed to take them for (30) Thirty instead of the usual (15) Fifteen days which was very adequate for the refugee. The food rationing in Kakuma Refugee Camp has dropped after WFP World Food Program opted to add a further (15) fifteen days for the consumption of the meagre food rationing they provide in the camp.   The reason behind the added (15) Fifteen days is that WFP World Food program is also providing Bamba Chakula which is in term of Mobile money in which the refugees can buy whatever food item they might need to consume rather the one already planned by UNHCR and WFP World Food Program. Joint forces including the SPLM-IO and SSPDF today decided to visit the people of YEI specifically the people of Morobo Payam in the YEI RIVER COUNTY in accordance with the on-going peace agreement in the country. A form three student from Loreto Girls Secondary School in Rumbek has escaped a force marriage which she had no idea of and had no consent to the so called marriage which was well organized behind her back. Mr. Mangong Luka paid the parents of Athiei a total of (90) Ninety cows. The cows after being received by Athiei parents automatically makes Athiei the wife of Mr. Mangong Luka. The people of Hai Ifwanyak today were awoken to a sad morning when the news of one of the police officer was found dead in Hai Ifwanyak. The police Officer also works in the department of operations in Torit State. It is believed that the late Mr. James Omiyang hanged himself at around 7:00 AM. In the morning hours. That was the time exactly the body was found by the relatives in Hai-Ifwanyak area in Torit. The police Major in Torit State, Major Justine who is also the chief inspector of police in Torit state has confirmed that the cause of his death is still unknown and major investigations are underway to determine the cause of his death.
